What’s the purpose

The poster template is a prototyping method that requires you to distill the key points of your solution into a visual format. The process makes you consider the most compelling aspects of your idea and then bring them to life in a single space to share with others.

How to do it

Start by creating a tagline or slogan for your solution, or add it if you’ve already got one.
Next, outline who your key users are, the problems your solution solves and the benefits it will bring to their lives.
Outline your key marketing message. What will make people take notice of your idea? What will make them excited to use it? How is it different to what they already have access to?
Now, create a poster drawing from the elements above to craft a compelling visual message that will draw in your audience. Remember to give your poster a title.

Helpful tips

You don’t need to make your poster a work of art. Being visual is crucial but the content is more important than the final design at this stage.
